Quote of the day:

“Each day we make deposits in the memory banks of our children."  – Charles Swindoll

Consider:

You’ve heard the old saying that it’s never too late to do the right thing. This certainly applies to parents and how we act and react to our children.  All parents make mistakes from time to time; it is when we continue to make the same mistakes again and again that we begin to realize certain habits don’t serve us, or our children, well. We only have one opportunity to raise our children with love and positive encouragement, and learning to do this takes a tremendous amount of wisdom, understanding, patience and a great deal of love.

Are you instilling important values in your children that will help them along the road of their life? Try making a push this month to give your children more hugs, to show them more patience, to talk to them about their problems and the challenges they face, to show them you care. Deposit into their memory bank through tangible loving actions the greatest gift of all--love.

Wishing you all the best,

Coach Dana
